Well hello and thanks for stopping by my page! Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Kathleen, founder of The Heart Project, mama of two kiddos, wife, teacher, optimist and dreamer.
Years ago at a baseball game, my friend and I drunkenly decided we would start the website “followyourdreams.com” because we believed everyone should live out their dreams and be the happiest versions of themselves. It was a joke at the time, but one of those “half-kidding” kind of moments, where I actually believed it was a good idea.
I’ve been involved in kindness initiatives before, but they were usually small events or week-long initiatives that had a start and an end to them. While I think those are super ways to get people thinking about kindness and helping others, I strongly believe that kindness and gratitude should be part of everyone’s daily lifestyle – especially when things are difficult.
When my mum passed away in 2018, I was devastated, and needed an outlet for my grief (you can find out more on this in my first blog post: My Heart Project).
And so, I decided to start The Heart Project as a way to help me heal, but also as a way to help motivate and inspire others to practice kindness and gratitude on a daily basis and to give people tools and resources to help them reach their goals and become the best versions of themselves possible.
I hope something on this website resonates with you and inspires you to be the best version of YOU! If you have any feedback, questions or just want to say hi, please leave me a message! I would love to hear from you!
With love and gratitude,
