When someone goes out of their way to be kind, it almost always inspires others to pay it forward in one way or another. In my own experience, I have found that when I’ve been on the receiving end of an act of kindness, it’s hard not to want to pay it forward!
In the past, I have participated in kindness challenges, kindness days and kindness weeks. And these are all very noble initiatives, in which I will continue to participate. But ultimately, I think we should always be looking for opportunities to be kind to others and to pay it forward – not just on certain days or weeks. Kindness is what makes the world go around, and the more we can be kind to one another the more likely we are to build each other up and ultimately, change the world!
So, here’s my kindness challenge to you: Do something kind for someone else. Every. Single. Day.
And at the end of each day, be sure to reflect back on the acts of kindness you did for others, and the acts of kindness you received from others. And don’t forget to include these in your gratitude journal!
If you’re having a hard time coming up with new ideas for how to be kind to others, don’t worry – I got you. I’ve created a list of 75 Acts of Kindness that is sure to inspire others to pay it forward and create a ripple effect so big that it will change the world!
